Picture of the snow storm we had on 14 Feb 2009. And this is just the beginning. We are supposed to get an even bigger storm on Tuesday... yikes!!

Romp to Stomp out breast cancer - our snowshoeing adventure 7 Feb 09

Our company participates in the snowshoeing Romp to Stomp out breast cancer each year and this is the first year that I participated. It was also nice because it just so happened that this was Bill's weekend off, so he joined us. It was a beautiful 40+ degrees day - no wind, just perfect weather. As you can see the snow had already melted quite a bit. 2 days later this area got a couple more feet - very badly needed! This is a golf course at the mouth of Parley's Canyon just east of Salt Lake City off from I-80.

Bill's Birthday - 22 Jan 09 - Take a guess at how old...:-)

Bill decided this year he wanted a very quiet celebration for his birthday. We went to dinner at Lone Star where he enjoyed a steak and salmon dinner followed by a nice piece of Key Lime Pie. On Saturday Courtnee and Mandi came over and we had Bowman's donuts - 1 donut equals about 3 regular donuts. Good thing we only do this once every 3 or 4 years!! Bill with one of the two coats he got for his birthday.

Billy's favorite birthday meal (besides Round Steak and noodles) - this is steak, salmon and garlic mashed potatoes at Lone Star.

And of course, Key Lime Pie for dessert.

Bill took this one when I wasn't paying any attention, and no, I'm not a beer head!!
